Small ice chests and coolers are welcome at the Stars & Stripes Celebration. In consideration of space, coolers should be no larger than 48 quarts. Please note that alcohol is not permitted at the event.
Yes, you can bring your dog to the Stars & Stripes Celebration! This event does include large crowds and a 15-minute firework show, if your dog does not do well with those items we suggest leaving them home.
Yes, small, personal umbrellas are permitted at the event, canopies are not permitted. Please be courteous of other guests when setting up your umbrellas.
Yes, we will have 11 food vendors at the event! Support our local businesses by purchasing food at the event or from a local restaurant beforehand.
Limited ADA parking will be available at City Hall and designated parking lots, with shuttling golf cart services too/from the event site. Event staff will be monitoring the entrance of the City Hall parking so please have your disabled person parking placards visible if applicable.
We are looking for volunteers for specific roles at the event! Please visit our Volunteer Hub for availability and roles.
Temperatures are expected to be in the 90s+, so we suggest light, breathable fabric. We also encourage guests to wear their best red, white and blue to show their Stars & Stripes spirit!
The event starts at 6 p.m. but guests are welcome to show up starting at 5 p.m. to secure a spot on the lawn. Event features like food trucks, Kids Zone and more will not be available until 6 p.m.
Yes! We will have bike valet services at City Hall care of Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates.
We are no longer accepting vendors for Stars & Stripes 2024. The city is currently accepting vendors for our Sunday Funday event on September 22, 2024. View the vendor form here, unfortunately, we do not accept food vendors fo Sunday Funday.
