[ARCHIVED] Police Need the Public’s Help in Locating Homicide Victim’s Vehicle

March 16, 2015— At approximately 2:40pm, officers responded to a home in the 7900 block of Rocky Point Court in Citrus Heights for an unresponsive female. Officers arrived and provided lifesaving medical attention. The victim was transported via ambulance to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The victim had injuries consistent with an assault. Detectives are treating the incident as a homicide investigation. The name of the victim will be released by the coroner at a later date. Investigators are not releasing additional details regarding the homicide at this time.

Investigators need the public’s help in locating the victim’s vehicle. Investigators believe the vehicle was taken by a “person of interest” minutes after the homicide occurred. The actual vehicle is shown in the pictures below. The vehicle is a 2008 Honda Pilot minivan, silver in color. The license plate on the vehicle at the time it was taken was, California 6FVH704. The vehicle may have damage to the right side of the front bumper.

If you locate the vehicle, do not attempt to contact or detain any occupants of the vehicle. Call 911 or Citrus Heights Police Department at 916 727-5500 immediately.
