On June 7, 2024, at approximately 11:53 AM, the Citrus Heights Police Department received several 911 calls regarding a structure fire in the 7500 block of Oak Grove Ave.
Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. Tragically, firefighters discovered a deceased individual inside the home. The cause of death is unknown at this time.
Citrus Heights Police Detectives are on scene working alongside firefighters to investigate the cause of the fire. The identity of the deceased is still unknown and will be released by the coroner pending notification to the next of kin.
