[ARCHIVED] Update: Subjects Arrested for Weapons Violations

February 18, 2015- Detectives from the Citrus Heights Police Department’s Investigative Services Division completed the searches of three locations in Citrus Heights pursuant to a search warrant. In addition to the three arrests, Detectives located and recovered multiple firearms, ammunition, narcotics, and cash.

“We are proud of the skill and determination demonstrated by all law enforcement personnel involved in this case. It is because of their hard work we were able to the remove these weapons from the streets and make our community a safer place,” said Investigations Lieutenant Doug Fletcher.

The Citrus Heights Police Department relies heavily on our relationships and interaction with the community. It is because of these relationships we are able to make our community a safer place for everyone to work and live. As always, we encourage our residents to call and report suspicious activity to the police.

Detectives recovered 22 various types of weapons, including three AK-47’s, one Mac-10, and one Tec-nine. In addition to the weapons, Detectives located approximately two pounds of methamphetamine, six pounds of marijuana, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, three weapon suppressors (aka- “silencers”), and $93,000.00.
