Since 2019, the City has seen nearly a 100% increase in the number of massage establishments opening in the City. Due to the potential for unlawful activity that impacts surrounding neighborhoods and the potential for human trafficking to occur in massage establishments, the City is proposing a reasonable standard in capping the number of massage establishments allowed to operate.
An open house will be held for those interested in learning more about the potential change. All interested are welcome to attend including current/future establishment owners, property owners, landlords, therapists, etc.
