On 11/12/2014 at approximately 2:00am Citrus Heights Police Officers responded to the 7300 block of Parkvale Way after a witness observed three subjects breaking into her neighbor’s vehicle. While officers were en route to the area, the witness reported the subjects were walking away from the vehicle.
Officers arrived in the area and began searching for the suspects. Officers located the three suspects on Blackthorn Way and Tupelo Drive who were being detained by the witness’ husband in the middle of the street.
The investigation revealed stolen electronics from the victim vehicle in the possession of one of the suspects. The other two suspects had property in their possession that appeared to be stolen but no victim(s) could be identified as of this writing. All three suspects were positively identified by the witness.
Three juveniles ranging in age between 15 and 17 years old were arrested for:
? Possession of stolen property
? Conspiracy
? Possession of Burglary Tools
The Citrus Heights Police Department wants to remind the community to not leave items of value (especially in plain view) inside their vehicles and to make sure their vehicles are secure when they are parked.
