Engineering

The Engineering Division provides project and program support of activities primarily in the public right-of-way. The projects generally include public infrastructure such as roads, streets, bridges, utility lines and waterways. The engineers also provide engineering support to development projects by processing permit applications and reviewing plans in conjunction with the Community Development Department.

Plan Checks, including Improvement Plans & Grading, Lot Line Adjustments (LLA) review and comment, Public Utility Easements (PUE) and Parcel Map, Final Map, and Subdivision Map reviews and approval are some of the Department responsibilities to ensure that Citrus Heights Development Standards are met. 

The General Services Department provides engineering support to development projects by processing permit applications and reviewing plans in conjunction with the Community Development Department.
