[ARCHIVED] Business Community: The City of Citrus Heights Wants to Hear From You

Newsflash - ARPA Business Survey

City begins Phase 2 of American Rescue Plan Act Allocation: Business COVID Recovery Grants

The City of Citrus Heights is gathering feedback from local businesses, to help guide the design of a potential local Business COVID Recovery Grant Program, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). All those with businesses in Citrus Heights are encouraged to take the survey online by visiting: https://forms.gle/iYkLS8DqzSv7vBmy7. The survey is available in English, Spanish, and Russian.

The business community is also invited to tune in for a joint department report from the City’s Finance and Economic Development & Communications Divisions at the City Council meeting on Thursday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m. (Click here for information on viewing Council meetings). During the update, staff will present proposed principles for the Business COVID Recovery Grant Program, including elements required by the U.S. Treasury like how to demonstrate negative COVID impact for eligibility, approved projects that businesses can spend their grant dollars on, the process for administering funds, reporting and tracking, and more.

Staff will also present the preliminary business survey results and field Council feedback on the proposed principles. Final program guidelines will be presented for Council approval at a later Council meeting.

Community engagement continues to be a cornerstone of the City’s ARPA allocation process. To learn more about the City’s Phase 1 allocation (which is completed), and future plans, visit: https://www.citrusheights.net/1139/American-Rescue-Plan-Act-ARPA.
