1. How is the City Manager selected?

The City Manager is appointed by a majority of the City Council, and serves at the pleasure of a majority of the City Council.

2. What does the City Manager do?

As the top appointed official in the city, the City Manager supervises city departments and provides administrative and legislative/policy support to the City Council.
