Introducing the Citrus Heights Chip-In Hall of Fame Award

The City of Citrus Heights is proud to launch the Chip-In Hall of Fame Award, a new volunteer recognition program celebrating residents who make a meaningful impact in our community.

This award honors individuals who embody our Citrus Heights Cares initiative by "Chipping In"—whether through beautification efforts, acts of kindness, or dedicated volunteerism. These are the unsung heroes who give back selflessly, expecting no recognition but truly deserving it.

Nominate a Chip-In Champion

Starting Wednesday, March 12th, we invite residents to nominate outstanding individuals who go above and beyond to improve our city. All eligible nominees will be shared leading up to our Volunteer Appreciation Week Reception on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Nominees will be invited to this special event, where we will announce the award recipient.

The awardee will be anonymously selected by a panel of community leaders and City staff based on their nomination submissions.

Citrus Heights City Hall & Community Center

Join an exciting team of City staff serving the public daily. City Hall and Community Center volunteers work alongside City staff on a variety of diverse projects and activities. Ideal candidates are available 3-6 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Volunteer opportunities include reception desk, transportation permits, utility building maintenance, filing, special projects, and much more. Volunteering is an easy way to get involved in your community. Become a part of the City Hall and Community Center team, where selecting work that is enjoyable and rewarding to you is important to us.
