Allied Waste Systems is Citrus Heights residential garbage and recycling service provider. Services provided in the residential program are as follows:
A Customer Service Guide is sent to each customer in December. The guide includes service information and a 2010 Service Day Calendar showing the MR and GW weeks.
May 1, 2010 to April 30, 2011 RATE INFORMATION
A slight rate increase (3 %) went into effect with the May-June 2010 billing cycle. An information letter was included in the May-June bill. Current rates are as follows (based on the size of garbage container):
32-gallon garbage container: $19.56 per month or $39.12 every two months
64-gallon garbage container: $21.73 per month or $43.46 every two months
96-gallon garbage container: $27.05 per month or $54.10 every two months
The rate is determined by the size of the garbage container. Green waste and mixed recycling, neighborhood cleanup/bulky waste collection program, curbside used oil recycling, and access to the North Area Recovery Station (NARS) Household Hazardous Waste Facility are all included as part of the monthly rate. Customers may also have one extra green waste OR mixed recycling container at no additional charge upon request.
