McDonald's at Sunrise and Old Auburn Road (7632 Sunrise Boulevard) is scheduled to be reimaged.  Around February 20, 2013 the store will close temporarily to be demolished and rebuilt with the new McDonald's design.  The building will also have a new footprint, oriented closer to the street. Construction is expected to take approximately 90 days.

Dollar General is Now Open!  The region's first Dollar General has opened in Citrus Heights in the Grand Oaks Shopping Center at 7963 Auburn Boulevard.  Dollar General is the nation's largest small-box discount retailer, featuring an assortment of the most popular brands at low, everyday prices.  Dollar General offers everything from food and household supplies to apparel, toys and office and school supplies.  Check out the newest addition to Citrus Heights today!

The new Citrus Town Center (former Sunrise Festival) at the corner of Greenback and Sunrise Boulevard (7905 Greenback Lane) has completed it's remodel.  There are several new businesses featured at the new center including Sprouts Farmers Market, Carter's, a children clothing store, and Wing Stop.  Come check out all Citrus Town has to offer and this summer the Center's is also featuring concerts every other Saturday through September.  For more information, click here.
