Are you a PASS certified design professional? The Citrus Heights Building Division accepts PASS program plan reviews for tenant improvement projects (no added building area).
The PASS Program (Prequalified Architectural Submittal System) is available for design professionals who attend a half-day class and pass a test. Currently, design professionals have a wide variety of approaches to how they may prepare their building plans. With PASS, a clear and concise set of standards for document content and organization has been developed providing a more efficient and effective plan review process. The program is voluntary and requires only minor adjustments for both public and private sector internal processes.
The Citrus Heights Building Division has a 10-day first-round review process for building permits with a 5-day review process thereafter. With the addition of the PASS program, the City strives to improve the efficiency of its building permit review process further, making it more likely for permits to be approved on the first round.
