Phase II launches April 23, 2018!
Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) launched its microtransit pilot project, SmaRT Ride, Citrus Heights on February 12, 2018. Due to it's success, SacRT will launch Phase II on April 23, 2018, expanding into the Antelope, Orangevale and Folsom areas (see map).
SmaRT Ride offers on demand, curb-to-curb, ride hailing service to any destination within Citrus Heights boundaries. Download the Microtransit smart phone app from the Google Play store or iPhone App store to your smart phone.

Single fares and Daily passes are available! Basic and discount rates apply!
SmaRT Ride seats 12 to 14 passengers with space for two wheelchairs, and are equipped with wheelchair lifts and securements, and bike racks.
SmaRT Ride connects to Citrus Heights shopping centers, restaurants, movie theaters, community centers, parks, schools and medical facilities (Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, and Kaiser Medical Offices on Riverside Avenue in Roseville) and Phase II now includes Antelope, Orangevale and the Historic Folsom Light Rail Station beginning April 23, 2018.
The app manages incoming trip requests with a software scheduling program for flexible, efficient transit routes. You may also continue to request rides by calling 916-556-0258 or by scheduling online with https://ondemand.transloc.com/ ; however, reservations must be made on the same day, between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning April 23, 2018.
SmaRT Ride fares are $2.75 per trip or $1.35 per trip for those eligible for discount fare. Daily passes are also available. Visit the website for more information.
