At over $48 million, the Auburn Boulevard Complete Streets Revitalization Project (ABCS) is the largest capital improvement project the city has undertaken since incorporation in 1997. In an effort to coordinate with businesses during construction of the project, staff has developed a comprehensive communication strategy. In order to prepare businesses for success despite obstacles presented during construction, the city has prepared the ABCS Business Toolkit: Tips and Techniques for Continued Success During Construction (PDF). The toolkit includes information about the project, tips for business owners to help keep customers informed during construction, marketing tips, and helpful contacts.
