Current Construction Projects

Project Management
Citrus Heights General Services Department (GSD) provides oversight and project management for a number of private development/redevelopment and public improvement projects. GSD's role in private construction projects typically includes plan review for the public improvement portion of the project (sidewalk, curb, gutter, storm drain system, traffic signals, street lights). The remaining on-site improvements are typically reviewed and inspected by the city's Building and Safety Division with the exception of sanitary sewer facilities which are the responsibility of the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SASD).

Oversight & Review
GSD's role in public improvement projects includes oversight and review of environmental studies and engineering, right-of-way acquisition needed for construction projects, construction management, and inspection of construction activities. Some typical public improvement projects are roadway widening or enhancement, pavement resurfacing, or drainage system improvements.
