The History and Arts Commission consists of community volunteers with a demonstrated interest, experience, or related professional qualifications in historic preservation and/or cultural arts. The members are either residents of the City of Citrus Heights, descendants of residents of Citrus Heights, or former residents.

Commission Overview
In 2001, the City Council established the History and Arts Commission to assist in the preservation and enhancement of historical buildings and artifacts. The commission also seeks to promote cultural arts within the community.
